MEMBRANE FILTRATION SYSTEM:  DE NORA UAT™ REVERSE OSMOSIS TECHNOLOGY

Using high quality components, the skid-mounted De Nora UAT™Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems are engineered to effectively produce treated water, free of particulate matter or contaminants. The UAT™ RO membrane filtration systems range in standard output capacities from 4.7 m³/hr to 78.9 m³/hr or 30,000 GPD to 500,000 GPD, with larger custom units available. Our experienced process engineers have a long history designing and installing the UAT RO filtration systems.

De Nora Water Technology offers a variety of system accessories for use with our UAT™ reverse osmosis membrane filtration systems. Accessories include backwash systems for media filtration, chemical dosing systems, clean-in-place systems and media filtration systems.

De Nora Water Technology offers the UAT™ EDI electrodeionization system, ideally suited for polishing reverse osmosis (RO) permeate, replacing conventional mixed bed ion exchange systems by eliminating the need to store and handle hazardous chemicals used for resin regeneration and associated waste neutralization requirements. Systems are available with a maximum permeate flow rate of 2.2 m³/h - 104 m³/h or 10 GPM - 460 GPM.

CHEMICAL CHILL SYSTEM

Liquid chemicals, such as ammonia and sodium hypochlorite, require a safe and stable chilling and storage method to prevent degradation, chemical property breakdown and off gassing.

The ClorTec® LiquidChem Chiller™ liquid chemical chill system is an ideal solution for these applications. The system accurately, reliably and uniformly feeds chemicals by using a consistent suction head and eliminating injection pump vapor lock cavitation. The ventilation system vents and releases gas directly into the atmosphere, preventing the possibility of check valve or vacuum relief valve failure. Unlike other systems, the easy-to-install liquid chemical chill system does not require pressurized storage of liquid chemicals. The storage tank is insulated to maintain the chemicals at low temperatures, stabilizing the solution so they cannot volatize.

TETRA® Higgin's Loop™ ion exchange for metals removal and recovery.

De Nora TETRA® Higgin's Loop™ ion exchange system is a continuous countercurrent ion exchange (I-X) contactor for liquid phase separations of ionic components using solid exchange (I-X) resins. The TETRA Higgin's Loop ion exchange system is a great enhancement for I-X applications when compared with fixed bed and fluid bed systems. The Higgin's Loop system will efficiently utilize the resin capacity, uses less regenerant and fresh water, generates consistent product quality, and minimizes wastewater volumes. The technology offers greatly expanded ranges for the use of I-X resins and adsorbents in commercial separations. The Higgin's Loop ion exchange system is a vertical cylindrical loop, containing a packed bed of I-X resin that is separated into four operating zones by butterfly, or "loop" valves. These operating zones - adsorption, regeneration, backwashing and pulsing - function like four separate vessels.
