Alice Vatta

Born in Turin in 1975, she graduated with honors in Civil Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 1999, completing international research experience at the Institut de Recherche in Marseille. She later earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

In 2000, she joined McKinsey & Company, where she remained until 2013, contributing to the development of strategies and transformation programs for companies in the energy, infrastructure, and telecommunications sectors, working on projects across Europe, North Africa, and Latin America. From 2013 to 2014, she was a Principal at Bain & Company, where she led strategic initiatives for utilities in Italy and the Mediterranean area.

In 2014, she joined C3.ai, a leading provider of artificial intelligence solutions, where she opened and led the Italian office. As VP Strategic Clients, she supported the implementation of digital solutions for major European energy groups.

Since 2018, she has been Senior Partner and CEO of BPI Learn, a company based in Italy, the UK, and Spain, operating globally through business transformation programs, leadership development, and capability building.

Since 2020, she has served as an independent board member of Hera S.p.A., where she chairs the Ethics and Sustainability Committee and sits on the Remuneration Committee. Since 2022, she has also served as an independent board member of Fincantieri S.p.A., where she is a member of both the Sustainability and Nomination Committees.

She has completed executive training programs on governance and sustainability at SDA Bocconi, Assogestioni, and Nedcommunity. She is also active as a venture capital investor, with interests in several innovative start-ups.
