Milan, October 28, 2025 – Industrie De Nora, an Italian multinational listed on Euronext Milan, specialized in the electrochemical industry and leader in sustainable technologies and in the emerging green hydrogen industry, confirms its commitment to innovation by participating in “SMAU Milano 2025”, the reference platform for the Italian and international innovation ecosystem, which will be held on the 5th and 6th November at Fiera Milano.
Innovation has always been part of De Nora's DNA and is a thread that guides every activity promoted by the company. For over 100 years, the Group has been a leader in developing the electrochemical sector with a green focus and creating new cutting-edge solutions to respond to the main global challenges related to the energy transition. This is confirmed by the importance given to Research & Development activities, carried out by five research centers in Italy, the USA, and Japan, where over 100 researchers work.
The focus on innovation is not limited to R&D activities but encompasses all business functions. The Group has adopted various structures and processes to facilitate change, including Galileo, a global innovation platform created to collect, enhance, and transform employees' ideas into concrete improvement and innovation projects. Through Galileo, everyone can contribute with proposals ranging from Continuous Improvement to High Impact Innovation, fostering a widespread culture of intrapreneurship and cross-functional collaboration. Since its launch, the program has generated hundreds of implemented ideas and had a tangible impact on the Group's efficiency, sustainability, and growth.
De Nora will therefore be present at SMAU as a key player in the innovation ecosystem, taking part in three round tables that clearly illustrate the guidelines driving innovation initiatives: “Artificial Intelligence in action: current projects and future challenges,” “Open innovation in the energy challenge: experiences and prospects,” and “HR and the culture of innovation: current practices and emerging challenges.” The conferences aim to promote sharing experiences and encourage the creation of new synergies and collaborative projects, driven by co-innovation.
Moreover, participating in the Fair is an opportunity for De Nora to connect with an ecosystem of innovative startups and SMEs, to develop Proof of Concept and collaborations in relation to the processes of digitalization and inclusion of AI into business practices, industrial decarbonization, innovative production, circular economy, and sustainable resource management, to name a few areas.
